How do I promote an event in Auckland?

Please follow this process if you’d like an event to be advertised within XR Auckland.

1. Complete this form:

This gets forwarded to the calendar coordinator who will create it asap.

2. The calendar coordinator will create a Facebook event

They will post it with the XRTMA account. This will automatically invite all members of the group. Note that if you create the event on facebook with your personal account you will not be able to share it as widely.

3. The calendar coordinator will create an RSVP page through the Action Network platform.

People who RSVP will be added to our mailing list if they aren’t subscribed yet.

4. The calendar coordinator will create a publicly visible event on our website https://extinctionrebellion.nz/auckland.

This event will link both to Facebook and to the RSVP page on Action Network.

5. Anyone can spread the news by sharing the link to one of these three platforms (Facebook, Action Network, Website).
