1. Responsibility
Our guidelines ensure everyone can participate equally and to stay focused on our purpose. You must accept them to be added to our group. Admins and moderators role is to support our guidelines. They will delete content and remove people who breach them.
2. Principles
We strongly encourage group members to adhere to Extinction Rebellion’s (XR) core demands, principles and values. Available at: https://extinctionrebellion.nz/about
3. Local
The purpose of this group is to share topics and ideas that directly relate to or concern XR members in [local group’s area].
4. Respect
We welcome all people, but not all behaviours. Be kind and courteous. Bullying, hate speech, shaming, and aggression is not welcome. Degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
5. Non-violent
We use nonviolent strategy and tactics as the most effective way to bring about change. We don’t accept the promotion of violence.
6. Regenerative
We promote a culture that is healthy, resilient and adaptable. Healthy debate is natural, but be kind.
