It is important that you turn off email notifications from Mattermost. Receiving email notifications from a secure system undermines the security of the system.

1. Login to Mattermost.

2. Click the menu button on the top left hand side of your screen, next to your name.

3. Click “Account Settings”.

4. Click “Notifications” on the Account Settings page.

5. Click “Edit” next to “Email notifications”.

6. Click the “Never” select box under “Send email notifications”.

7. Click “Save”.

8. Close the Account Settings window.
