Following these X steps to create a protonmail account. (2 – 5 mins)

1. Visit https://mail.protonmail.com/create/new?language=en
2. Choose a username
3. Choose a strong password you will remember
4. Do NOT provide a recovery email
5. Click create account.

5. Click “confirm” on the no recover email warning message.

6. Click the “I’m not a robot” tick box.

7. Complete the CAPTCHA test, for example:

8. Click “NEXT”

9. Click “COMPLETE SETUP”

10. Create a display name. Please use ‘name-location’. eg. winston-whangarei

11. Click “FINISH”
