By what year should NZ achieve net-zero carbon emissions?

The date by which we achieve technical net-zero is less important than the rapidity with which we reduce emission in the coming 10-20 years. While we accept a technical target of 2050 we believe we must rapidly reduce emissions to keep warming below 1.5% and that Aotearoa should lead the world in reducing gross domestic emissions of all greenhouse gases, and be on track to end fossil-fuel use and production no later than 2035, through legally binding mechanisms.
