By what year should NZ achieve net-zero carbon emissions?

Achieving technical net-zero is less important than rapidly reducing emissions in the coming 10-20 years. A technical target of 2050 is ok but we believe we must rapidly reduce emissions to keep warming below 1.5%.  Aotearoa should lead the world in reducing gross domestic emissions of all greenhouse gases, and aim to end fossil-fuel use and production no later than 2030, through legally binding mechanisms.
