Extinction Rebellion Nelson News

February 2020

Hello Rebels,

Already one month into 2020 and XR Nelson has hit the ground running.  We have a great team of people involved in making things happen, such as the smooth running of meetings, treasury, communication, social media, regeneration and community engagement.

If you want to get involved, let’s meet up at one of our Last Friday of the Month Potluck dinners or come to a meeting!

Warmest Regards

Katrin

TDC is looking for submissions on Kingsland Forest Development

Kingsland Forest forms the backdrop to Richmond and is a popular destination for bikers and walkers. A new harvesting cycle is about to start and we need to decide whether to replant pines for harvest or manage the forest solely as recreational and biodiversity asset  for Richmond and replant either native or permanent exotic species. To let the Council know your vision for Kingsland Forest and more information click here, or email [email protected]
