Extinction Rebellion Waitākere is the West Auckland wing of worldwide movement Extinction Rebellion. We are tackling business as usual to stop the current mass extinction event and to prevent climate chaos, using the proven methods of nonviolent civil disobedience.
We are a grassroots movement and that means we need people like you to get involved and build our power.
Anyone living in the Whau and Waitakere Wards can join us and stay in the loop for upcoming events and actions. Anyone living in the west of the Rodney Ward is also welcome to join until a group forms there. We work closely with the other Auckland region branches.
