Extinction Rebellion is a do-it-yourself movement based on committed volunteers. We work in small self-directed teams to get work done and to support each other.

We are a distributed movement. Our work is done through teams. Our Coordination Team ensures our teams are working together, implementing our strategy plans, and following our values and participatory culture.

The XR workshop is your first introduction to the Rebellion. It includes a short talk and a group workshop on the crisis and what we are doing about it. The Workshop Team is responsible for organising session that don’t just inform, but inspire Westies to act. The workshop will be run in different suburbs out west.

We believe mass grassroots action is our own only hope for a future for all. Our Action Team organises public activities to promote our workshops and events to support our local and national campaigns.
