Given the state of our ecosystems (human and nonhuman) and climate, the need for everyday people to stand up and demand action/change has never been more important as it is now!
For generations non-violent direct action has been taken to demand and create change, from the suffragettes to the civil rights movements, lgbtq+ rights and many more.
Here in Aotearoa we have a rich history of NVDA…. Parihaka, Suffragettes, Bastion Point, Nuclear free, Springbok Tour and Ihumātoa to name a few.
We know it works!
Join us in a full day of expert facilitated training in the art of NVDA, as well as a deep dive into the history of NVDA and it effectiveness. Learn the skills of non-violence and practice through role play scenarios.
