2024: A year of Opportunity:

We have two big mobilisations happening right now: Te Tiriti O Waitangi and Palestinian Rallies. Is this the moment for us to join/build to mobilise and address the urgency for change necessary for to keep the planet liveable?

Te Tiriti O Waitangi

In 72 hours Te Pāti Māori mobilised around the country the disruption of major roads during peak hour. This has promoted a cross Iwi hui to be called by King Tūheitia before the summer Hui at Ratana. These huge Hui will feed into the Waitangi Day celebrations. The Climate Justice Network, including representatives from Extinction Rebellion Tāmakai Makaurau, will be at this event.

Meanwhile we are witnessing a nationwide sustained campaign against the overreaction of Israel to the Hamas attack on October 7. Current death rates 1200:22000.
