After hearing that a desperately needed cycleway (WheelsToWings) could be deferred a deputation from XRŌ addressed the Finance and Performance Committee of the Christchurch City Council. XRŌ called for them to live by the climate emergency the council had declared years ago and to continue building out cycleways as planned.
