Tamki Makaurau SPRING REBELLION October 23 – 28

Join us doing some serious cheeky fun to let the Government, Council and population know that

We must get to zero emissions by 2025

to honour the Paris Agreement.

We are planning: stenciling and postering, roads, electoral offices, council offices, and major polluters. As the Open Letter is presented in grand style in the Capital, we will do a grand gesture in the biggest city. Of course observing Covid restrictions (Masks, social distancing and expecting that everyone is double Vaxxed)

Needed: 5 Red Rebels; people to do poster run;, very early morning stencilors; banner holders; leafelters; and more.

If you can travel around in Level Two Covid Alert go to Te Whanganui a Tara (Wellington).

COP 26: Rise up for the Climate Nov 3-7

Activists from across Aotearoa are teaming up for four days of skill-sharing, wānanga, networking and non-violent direct actions. The 5th of November is the day colonial troops invaded Parihaka after 22 years of bloody war across the country for land and resources. A war which has never ended and links directly to ruling class oppression, white supremacy, extractivism and now global warming. The 6th of November is a Global Day of Action for Climate Justice.

You need to enjoy street theatre, walking very slowly up and down stairs with good balance. We also need a volunteer to help with the organizational side of the Red Rebels. Text Margaret 0224743073 to be part of the Red Rebels.
