Kia ora,
E Tū: Stand Up for Our Future is coming to Auckland! Starting on Friday 31 July, we’ll be gathering outside Aotea Square between 12:30-1:30pm to stand in solidarity with the vigil at Parliament. Look for the XR banners, and spread the word. #etu4future. Facebook event here and information on website here.
Action for the environment has been ramping up, with David in Wellington entering the third week of his hunger strike for political action on the climate crisis, and community members in Avondale protesting to prevent the felling of nearly fifty 100-year-old native trees. Read more on David. Read more on the trees.
Additionally, our election actions are coming soon. Heaps is happening, so keep an eye out for details and be ready to help!
