“A long blue line snaked its way through central Nelson on Saturday as activists called for action on climate change.
More than 100 people joined together, each with their own blue banner, marching through the streets before eventually arriving at the Cathedral steps.
350 Nelson member and event co-organiser Monica Nelson said the banner’s path marked the outline of the water’s edge in Nelson, if the sea level were to rise by one metre.”
