Cows in Mud – join Matt Coffey at MBIE this Friday
Friday 26 March, noon – 1pm, Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, 14 Sir William Pickering Drive, Burnside
Aotearoa Water Action (AWA) invites Extinction Rebellion Ōtautahi rebels to join them with Matt Coffey in a picket outside MBIE this Friday to publicise the cows in mud/winter grazing issue.
Last year Matt presented drone footage of cows in mud in Southland’s intensive winter grazing at an Ōtautahi roadshow evening “A Change of Heart”. Vet and farm advisor Alison Dewes also outlined how farmers could transition to more humane farming practices, which would also reduce the toxic nitrate overload in our waterways.
See Mahi Pai Media’s great videos of this roadshow evening here, here and here.
