By what year should NZ achieve net-zero carbon emissions?

The rapidity with which we reduce emissions in the coming 10-20 years is critical in responding to the climate emergency. While the Green Party accepts a technical target of 2050, the most important thing is that we rapidly reduce emissions to keep warming below 1.5C or less. If current government targets are not sufficient to achieve this, the Green Party would want to change our targets.
